Firm History

Since the 1930's Dunmire, Fisher & Hastings has represented every type of individual and business client. The firm is located on the second floor of the Heritage Bank building. We practice in both federal and state courts. We represent individuals and businesses in commercial, real estate, business planning, and estate planning matters, as well as a variety of other areas of law.

Lawrence Dunmire began the firm as Bruckman & Dunmire in the 30's. After the death of his partner Charles Bruckman, Lawrence associated with Alfred Blessing to form Dunmire & Blessing. Charles W. Hastings became an associate with the firm in 1977. After the death of Alfred Blessing the firm became Fitzgerald, Brown & Dunmire and David H. Fisher became a partner. In 1987 the firm became Dunmire, Fisher & Hastings. Lawrence Dunmire retired in 1987 and died in 1997. Daniel C. Pauley joined the firm as an associate in 2011.
