Charles W. Hastings Bio
Charles W. Hastings, a native of Lincoln, Nebraska, has practiced in Hastings since graduating from the University of Nebraska Law College in 1977. Charles practices in the area of Business Planning, forming and advising Corporations, LLC's, Partnerships, Limited Partnerships, and other business entities; Estate Planning and Probate, writing and administering Wills, Trusts and all aspects of individual planning; Real Estate Practice, including the sale and acquisition of real property and structuring like-kind exchanges; and Guardianships and Conservatorships. "Our firm engages in a general practice which allows us to serve all aspects of a family's legal needs from adoptions, to forming and operating businesses, to planning their retirement and administration of their estate plan. I am humbled when I think of the number of instances where I have been privileged to serve three generations of a family."
Charles is a member of First Presbyterian Church, Mid-West Lodge 317, Tehama Shrine, Hastings Valley of the Scottish Rite, Hastings Noon Kiwanis Club and the YMCA. He serves on the board of Directors of the Hastings Community Foundation, the advisory board of the Hastings Corps of the Salvation Army, is President of Kids Against Hunger of Hastings and is President of the Scottish Rite Foundation of Nebraska. He has served on the board of Leadership Hastings, Hastings Public Library, and Hastings Chamber of Commerce. He is a member of the Nebraska and local bar associations.
